Skyline Media, a leading creative media agency in Uganda, is proud to announce the launch of “My Hu$tle,“ a groundbreaking visual and audio podcast series aimed at empowering creative business owners in Uganda and across Africa. This unique initiative, supported by Africa No Filter, Heirs Insurance & Heirs Assurance under the Tony Elumelu Storytellers Fund, aims to bridge the information gap and provide invaluable insights into building sustainable creative businesses.
Having experienced firsthand the lack of resources and support tailored specifically to the creative and arts sector, the team at Skyline Media recognized the urgent need for a platform that addresses the unique challenges faced by creative entrepreneurs. Despite the creative industry’s significant contributions to addressing youth unemployment in Uganda, it has been consistently overlooked by stakeholders within the business and economic ecosystem.
“My Hu$tle” is a seven-part visual and audio podcast series designed to empower individuals in the Ugandan and African creative economies. By leveraging the expertise of accomplished creative entrepreneurs, the series will delve into every stage of the business lifecycle, from the ideation of a business idea to the management of a sustainable enterprise. With a diverse range of featured guests, “My Hu$tle“, hosted by TimothyCODE will provide practical examples and insights to inspire and educate aspiring creative business owners.
“We are thrilled to launch ‘My Hustle’ and provide a much-needed resource for the creative community in Uganda,” said Felix Byaruhanga, the founder of Skyline Media. “Our goal is to empower and uplift the creative entrepreneurs who are driving economic growth and job creation in our country. By sharing the stories, experiences, and strategies of successful creative business owners, we aim to foster a supportive ecosystem that enables sustainable growth within the creative industry.”
The “My Hu$tle” podcast series is made possible through the generous support of Africa No Filter, Heirs Insurance & Heirs Assurance under the Tony Elumelu Storytellers Fund. These organizations recognize the immense potential of the creative sector and have joined forces to ensure that creative entrepreneurs receive the necessary knowledge and tools to thrive in today’s competitive business landscape.
Listeners can expect captivating episodes that offer practical advice, strategies, and insights on a wide range of topics, including branding, marketing, financing, and talent development. Each episode will feature engaging conversations with experienced and successful creative entrepreneurs, providing a unique opportunity for listeners to learn from industry leaders.
